The election subcommission of Shan State (East) organized an electoral training course for the polling station officers, deputy polling station officers and ward/village-tract election subcommissions at the city hall of Kengtung Township. It was attended by Triangle Region Command Commander Maj-Gen Soe Hlaing, officials of the township election subcommission and invitees.

At the event, an official of UEC for Shan State (East) clarified the purpose of the training course. The commander and attendees inspected the displayed MEVM, electoral books and journals.

The training will be conducted for 294 trainees until 24 November.
