Acting President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, Chairman of the State Security and Peace Commission, Senior General Min Aung Hlaing paid homage to Kyaikthallan Pagoda in Mawlamyine of Mon State yesterday afternoon.
After paying homage to the pagoda, the Senior General enjoyed the sunset scenic beauty of Mawlamyine. He donated cash to the fund of the pagoda through members of the pagoda board of trustees.

The Senior General, together with officials, viewed around selling of traditional foods and the opening of shops at the night market along the Strand Road in Mawlamyine and cordially greeted the vendors and consumers who tasted foods at the shops.

The Senior General gave guidance to officials to build a site where people can take physical sports exercises and recreation on the bank of the strand road, upgrade the road, and beautify along the road.
