Union Minister for Foreign Affairs U Than Swe received Mr Abhay Thakur, Ambassador of India, at the Pan Wah Guest House in Yangon yesterday.
They discussed matters on the promotion of bilateral cooperation in various sectors between Myanmar and India, including boundary-related matters, bilateral trade and India’s assistance to Myanmar for post-earthquake recovery.
Also, present at the meeting were senior officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Myanmar and representatives of the Indian Embassy.
