The opening ceremony of Fire Safety Specialist Course 2/2025 took place at the Fire Station in Zabuthiri Township, Nay Pyi Taw, yesterday.

Speaking at the event, Director-General U Myat Thu highlighted the intention of the course like to overcome the challenges that the firefighters may face in the future, to ensure the balance of Men Power, Equipment Power and Technology Power supporting the objectives of the department, to consistently study and practice in modern fire safety and search-and-rescue technologies currently practiced by international fire service organizations and to theoretically and practically teach the application and issuance procedures of fire safety inspection and approval certificates through an online system of the Fire Services Department. A total of 30 trainees joined the four-week course from 21 October to 13 November.
