First and foremost, the Senior General said that to improve transportation and connectivity to Cocokyun, the runway of the airport has been extended, and a jetty has been constructed where large ships can dock, significantly enhancing the area compared to before. Since Cocokyun occupies a strategically important location for the country, it is necessary for not only Tatmadaw members serving in the Cocokyun station but also their family members to always live with security awareness and vigilance.
He stressed that all Tatmadaw members serving at various levels are required to have a defensive mindset. They must continuously engage in preparatory training to be ready for combat, maintain physical health and strength, uphold courage and resilience, acquire necessary skills, and ensure they are always combat-ready.
To maintain physical strength and resilience, he underscored that a Tatmadaw member must perform daily physical training exercises consistently. Regarding proficiency, Tatmadaw members must continuously practice handling and using weapons skillfully, ensuring they are always ready for action.
He pointed out that those in charge of administration must supervise systematically, and those assisting must follow rules and procedures diligently.
They should avoid, as much as possible, consuming alcohol and indulging in entertainment that could harm their health and social life. Engaging in individual farming and cultivation activities can greatly contribute to the well-being of Tatmadaw members and their families.
The State is carrying out educational reforms to ensure that the country has abundant and well-educated human resources. By reading and learning, Tatmadaw members can acquire knowledge and skills, and they should also ensure that their children become well-educated.
