UNION Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn inspected the Aung San Printing House under the Printing and Publishing Department in Insein Township and the Wazira Cinema upgrading work site in Kyauktada Township of Yangon Region yesterday.

He inspected the printing operations and urged all to ensure systematic work implementation and timely completion of the tasks. He also presented cash prizes to the staff.

On arrival at the Waziya Cinema, which is being upgraded into an international-level red carpet theatre, the Union minister stressed the need to preserve the original architecture and complete the project by the second week of March 2026. He also called for a proper approach, considering both short-term and long-term plans for the renovations.
