A CTING President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, Chairman of the State Security and Peace Commission of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, Senior General Min Aung Hlaing and his wife Daw Kyu Kyu Hla watched participation of contestants in the 26th Traditional Myanmar Cultural Performing Arts Competitions (Central Level) at Hsinbyushin Hall and the National Museum in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday afternoon.
The events of the competitions were also attended by Commission Member, Prime Minister U Nyo Saw and his wife, Commission Member and Executive Chief U Aung Lin Dwe and his wife, Union ministers, senior Tatmadaw officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief and their wives, the commander of Nay Pyi Taw Command and deputy ministers, in addition to the audience.
The Acting President and SSPC Chairman of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar and his wife enjoyed active dance and singing participation of contestants from regions and states at the basic education level (aged 15-20), male Ozi contest, and male Dobat contest at Hsinbyushin Hall.
They also watched the participation of girls from regions and states at the basic education level (aged 15-20) harp contest at the Mini Theatre of the National Museum.
At Yinkyayhmu Yadana Hall of the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Culture, the Acting President and SSPC Chairman of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar and his wife, together with his entourage, enjoyed the participation of the contestants performing the modern song “Tomorrow (or) When” at the higher education level female piano contest.
After the competitions, the Acting President and SSPC Chairman of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar and his wife cordially greeted members of the panel of judges and contestants.
Events of the 26th competition are held at the respective venues. Enthusiasts in the fine arts arena watch the participation of contestants from regions and states, showing their brilliant artistic talents.
