The Thu Kha Mingalar Mobile Medical Unit offered healthcare services to the staff of the Ministry of Information who registered for social security at the Social Security Board of the Ministry of Labour in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.
Union Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn, Union Minister for Labour U Aung Kyaw Hoe, Deputy Minister U Win Shein and relevant officials inspected the healthcare services provided for the insured staff by doctors and health workers of the SSB.
U Maung Maung Ohn also inspected the lab test, ECG processes, blood test and certain healthcare services on the mobile medical unit.
The SSB project operates three SSB hospitals, 96 township SSB clinics, 61 departmental clinics, 68 contract clinics, 48 contract clinics for maternity and outpatient services, 16 contract hospitals and labour rooms for maternity services and one traditional medicine clinic.
In Nay Pyi Taw, there are two township SSB clinics, four departmental clinics and five contract clinics for maternity and outpatient services.
A total of 253 insured Information staff received the medical services, and the insured staff in Nay Pyi Taw will receive medical services until 30 October.
