Tatmadaw, in cooperation with residents seeking peace and stability, has conducted counter-terrorism operations to ensure that people can live safely and peacefully. As a result, full control has been restored over Kyaukme Township in Shan State (North).

Departmental officials and Tatmadaw personnel have been working together to maintain public security, provide essential assistance, reopen government offices, resume education at schools, reopen hospitals for healthcare services, and implement rehabilitation measures.

As part of these efforts, student enrollment began yesterday at No 1 Basic Education High School, Kyaukme, with a total of 206 students registered. The Ministry of Education provided free textbooks, stationery, and school supplies, while departmental officials assisted with the necessary arrangements.

To support smooth living conditions for departmental staff, the Shan State government donated rice, cooking oil, and other essential food items, which responsible officials distributed.
For public healthcare, doctors and nurses from the Ministry of Health and Tatmadaw jointly opened a temporary clinic at the Kyaukme Chinese communal temple on 5 October. As of today, 169 local ethnic residents have received healthcare services there.
Furthermore, security forces continue to maintain area security and administrative duties to ensure peace, stability, and long-term development in Kyaukme Township, enabling residents to live and work safely and sustainably.
