UNION Minister for Science and Technology Dr Myo Thein Kyaw attended the first meeting of the Council for Artificial Intelligence Development and the Sixth International Forum “Digital Bridge 2025”: Generative Nation held from 1 to 4 October in Astana, Kazakhstan.

On 1 October, President Mr Kassym-Jomart Tokayev of Kazakhstan made an opening speech at the meeting of the Council for Development of Artificial Intelligence held at the EXPO International Exhibition Centre.

Union Minister Dr Myo Thein Kyaw attended the meeting together with AI and Digital Development Minister of Kazakhstan Mr Zhaslan Madlyev, governmental officials, international guests, experts and business people.

On 2 October, he attended the opening ceremony of the VI International Forum “Digital Bridge 2025”: Generative Nation held at Astana Hub in Astana.

The forum was attended by Kazakhstani President Mr Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, Hungarian President Mr Tamas Sulyok, Heads of Government, Telegram Founder and CEO Mr Pavel Durov and other invitees.

After the opening ceremony, the Union minister observed the galleries.

On 3 October, the Union minister met Deputy Minister for AI and Digital Development of Kazakhstan Mr Kanysh Tuleushin and discussed bilateral cooperation on science and technology.

The forum aims to transform Kazakhstan into a technologically advanced country serving as a bridge between Europe and Asia, and during the forum, world leaders, technology innovators, and investors engaged in discussions on digital transformation and regional cooperation in the field of artificial intelligence.
