THE Myanmar film ‘If My Lover Were A Flower’ was shown at the ASEAN Film Festival 2025, according to the Myanmar Motion Pictures Organization (MMPO).

The ASEAN Film Festival 2025 is organized by Hong Kong-ASEAN Foundation and has been in progress in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, starting from 8 August till 31 August.

The festival will showcase 24 films from all ten ASEAN countries and four Belt and Road countries: Egypt, Hungary, Kazakhstan and Turkiye, said MMPO. The Myanmar Consulate-General in Hong Kong joined the festival, and the Myanmar movie ‘If My Lover Were A Flower’ was shown on 17 August at 3 pm at Emperor Cinema, Entertainment Building, enjoyed by officials from the Hong Kong-ASEAN Foundation, delegates from the ASEAN Consulate-General in Hong Kong, Myanmar nationals and enthusiasts.
