During the visit to Anning, China, to attend the 10th Mekong-Lancang Cooperation Foreign Ministers’ Meeting and related meeting, U Than Swe, Union Minister for Foreign Affairs of Myanmar held meetings with Mr Prak Sokhonn, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Cambodia on the evening of 14 August 2025 and Mr Thongsavanh Phomvihane, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Lao PDR on the afternoon of 15 August 2025, separately.

During respective meetings, both sides discussed matters relating to further consolidation of existing friendship and promotion of bilateral cooperation.

The Myanmar delegation led by Union Minister for Foreign Affairs U Than Swe arrived back from Anning, China, on the afternoon of 16 August 2025 after attending the 10th Mekong-Lancang Cooperation Foreign Ministers’ Meeting.
