U Ko Ko Hlaing, Union Minister for the Ministry 2 of the President’s Office, received Mr Michael Dunford, World Food Programme (WFP) Representative and Country Director, United Nations Resident Coordinator ad interim and Humanitarian Coordinator ad interim, yesterday afternoon at the parlour of the Office of the National Defence and Security Council in Nay Pyi Taw.

Both sides cordially exchanged views on humanitarian assistance distribution to those people in need, preparing to hold a free and fair general election, post-disaster recovery efforts and building a progressive and strengthened social community.

Officials from the Ministry 2 of the President’s Office were present at the meeting.
