In Yangon Region, the number of exam candidates is typically four to five times higher than those in other states and regions each year, so we are truly proud of this pass rate. We followed the instruction of the Department of Basic Education under the Ministry of Education and thanks to the close supervision and support from the regional government, and we were able to achieve this success. I would like to express my sincere thanks to everyone who contributed from all sides to help us reach this achievement,” said Dr Cho Cho Myat Aung, the Yangon Region Education Officer.

Your results reflect the effort you’ve invested. If, for any reason, your performance fell short this time, do not be disheartened. With persistence and hard work, success will follow. The matriculation exam is a turning point in life, and I encourage all students to give their best in the 2025-2026 academic year so that you can confidently and happily achieve success in the matriculation exam 2026.”
