THE Myanmar-China Friendship Association (Central) donated Waso robes, exercise books, and cash donations to monastic schools and Buddhist learning centres in Yangon Region on 10 and 11 July, according to the association.

As part of the donation, a collective Waso robe and Waso alms were presented to Suhtoopan Monastic School in Thanlyin Township, Yangon Region. Additionally, K1.14 million was donated to the education fund, along with 525 dozens of notebooks for 525 students. The Shwepyitha Pariyatti Buddhist Learning Centre in Shwepyitha Township received 150 dozen notebooks and other donation items, while 300 dozen notebooks and donation items were provided for 510 student monks at Insein Ywama Pariyatti Buddhist Learning Centre.

Similarly, educational funds, pens, and 150 dozen notebooks were donated to both Masoeyein Monastery in Tamway Township and Hlayadana Nyaungdon Pali University in Bahan Township, Yangon Region.

The Myanmar- China Friendship Association (Central) donated 1,265 dozen notebooks, stationery, and over K1.14 million to Buddhist monasteries on 10 and 11 July.
