KAYAH State Chief Minister U Zaw Myo Tin, together with the state ministers and officials, conducted a field inspection along the Loikaw-Hsihseng road and Loikaw-Moebye road on the morning of 13 July.

At milepost 135/4 near Padanyay Village on the Loikaw-Hsihseng road, the chief minister inspected the construction of a box culvert, and between mileposts 138/2 and 138/5 near Kayanthaya Village, he inspected concrete paving and side drain construction to ensure proper water drainage.

Next, the chief minister and officials proceeded to Kontha Village along the Loikaw-Moebye road and inspected the condition of the village roads, school buildings, and households. They also visited Nwalawoe Village-tract, where a 33/11 kV 5 MVA sub-power station and switchyard had been damaged due to acts of terrorism.

The chief minister gave necessary instructions to officials to carry out repair works promptly upon the arrival of necessary materials so that the electricity supply to the Loikaw Industrial Zone and nearby villages could be resumed under the supervision of the State Government. The chief minister also visited Nwalawoe High School and observed the peaceful learning environment of the students. He inspected the classrooms, lecture halls, and school buildings, and instructed relevant departments to ensure their sustainable maintenance, provide safe drinking water and electricity, and support teachers and staff with rice and cooking oil for their welfare.

Subsequently, Chief Minister U Zaw Myo Tin inspected the ongoing paving works along a six-furlong-long and 12-foot-wide road connecting Nwalawoe, Morchisuzee, and Lehtwe villages.

He also visited the Loikaw University campus and observed the construction progress of the three-storey main building, convocation hall, lecture halls, library, staff quarters, and hostels. The chief minister appreciated the efforts of local Tatmadaw units and departmental staff in maintaining cleanliness and carrying out development works within the university compound.
