A mobile medical team from the Northern Command provided healthcare services to 80 members of the Sangha on the morning of 10 July in Myitkyina Township.

The team visited a monastic school and conducted medical checkups for general illness, bone and joint conditions, neurological issues and surgical needs. Electrocardiogram (ECG) tests were performed, and X-ray diagnostics were conducted to identify further treatment requirements. Monks in need of advanced care were referred to military hospitals for continued treatment.

Similarly, a mobile team from the Yangon Command conducted medical outreach at Dhammayon Hall in Kalawe Village in Thanlyin Township, Yangon Region. Healthcare was provided to five monks and 139 locals from surrounding villages. The services included treatment for orthopaedic conditions, paediatric illnesses, eye and ENT diseases, dental issues, general ailments and obstetric and gynaecological care.

Officials from both regional commands observed the activities and ensured logistical support and coordination were in place for effective service delivery.
