A meeting with students at the Border Area Ethnic Youth Development Training School (Sittway) was held yesterday morning, attended by Rakhine State Chief Minister U Htein Lin and his wife, the Chief Justice of the State High Court, state ministers, departmental officials, the school’s principal, teachers, and students.

The Chief Minister and officials first toured the student dormitories, inspected the solar power system, and overviewed vegetable cultivation within the school as part of the Rakhine State government’s plan.

The Chief Minister then met with students in the dining hall, delivered a speech, and formally handed over additional food allowances provided by the Rakhine State government. The Chief Minister’s wife contributed raincoats and other items for distribution to the students. The Chief Justice of the State High Court allocated cash assistance for high school students, while the Minister of State Security and Border Affairs designated financial aid for middle school students. Officials received these items and funds on behalf of the students, and one student expressed gratitude on behalf of all recipients.
