PDF terrorists have committed destructive acts against educational buildings and schools, as well as threatening and murdering teachers.

On 6 June, PDF terrorists arrived on three motorcycles at a school and threatened Daw Yi Yi Htwe, 46, headteacher of the Basic Education Post-Primary School in Kuni Village, Natmauk Township, Magway Region, demanding that she join the Disloyalty Civil Servant (DCS) movement while she was performing her duties. She was brutally murdered for refusing their demand.

Between 1 February 2021 and 6 June 2025, terrorist groups killed 80 educational staff and injured 35 others.

Civilians strongly condemned these terrorist attacks on teachers, and security forces have responded promptly with security measures.
