State Administration Council Member, Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Defence General Maung Maung Aye met Chinese Ambassador Ms Ma Jia at the ministry’s hall yesterday morning.

Both sides exchanged views on enhancing defence cooperation between Myanmar and China, ensuring stability and security in the border areas between the two countries, and contributions to rehabilitation measures in the aftermath of the earthquake.

The meeting was also attended by relevant officials from the Ministry of Defence.
