UNION Minister for Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement Dr Soe Win visited the Basic Education Middle School (Branch) in Thit Tat Village, Zeyathiri Township, Nay Pyi Taw, yesterday morning to inspect the completion of a temporary school building and observe students’ learning.
The temporary structure, donated by international donors through the AHA Centre, is a container-type facility measuring 90 feet in length and 30 feet in width. It is designed for immediate use and was constructed in around 10 days.
According to reports, five similar temporary school buildings were established in the Nay Pyi Taw Council Area, with an additional five each in Sagaing Region, Mandalay Region, and Shan State – totalling 20 structures. The total project cost was estimated at around US$600,000.
