Huawei Technologies (Yangon) Co Ltd donated consumer goods, medicines and medical supplies to the Disaster Management Centre (DMC) of the Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement yesterday afternoon to provide necessary assistance to the people affected by the earthquake.

National Disaster Management Committee First Vice-Chair Union Minister for Home Affairs Lt-Gen Tun Tun Naung received the donation, expressed gratitude and presented a certificate of appreciation.

The donation ceremony was attended by the leader of the Disaster Management Committee Deputy Minister for Home Affairs Maj-Gen Aung Kyaw Kyaw and Secretary of the National Disaster Management Committee Deputy Minister for Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement U Soe Kyi. The relief items have been handed over to the Ministry of Health.
