Due to the Mandalay earthquake that struck on 28 March 2025, damage was reported in the Nay Pyi Taw Council Area, Sagaing Region, Mandalay Region, Magway Region, Shan State, and Bago Region. Domestic and international donors and philanthropists have provided humanitarian assistance, including essential supplies and medicines, and an official announcement regarding these support activities from 28 April to 4 May has been released.

From 5 to 12 May, out of the tarpaulin, foodstuffs, commodities, water purifiers, medicines donated by Vietnam, Malaysia, Brazil and Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, the medicines and medical supplies were handed over to the Healthcare Work Committee (Ministry of Health), and the remaining supplies were also distributed depending on the number of victims.

Out of 30,000 tonnes of diesel and 20,000 tonnes of petrol donated by China, 18,000 tonnes of diesel arrived at Thilawa Port in Yangon on 2 May and 17,000 tonnes of petrol on 7 May. The Ministry of Energy kept the donation systematically and used it in rehabilitation and rehabilitation processes.

Of 500 prefabricated offices donated by China, 340 arrived at Yangon Thilawa Port on 2 May, and 216 were distributed to Nay Pyi Taw on 6 May, while 80 were sent to Mandalay Region and 44 to Nay Pyi Taw on 12 May.

Moreover, out of 4,500 prefabricated houses donated by China, 1,576 arrived at Yangon Thilawa Port on 9 May, and 216 were distributed to Mandalay and Sagaing regions on 9 May, while 184 were sent to Nay Pyi Taw on 11 May by train.

The donated items received within one week are distributed to the quake survivors and staff in Nay Pyi Taw under the arrangement of Nay Pyi Taw Council and relevant ministries, and relevant governments in Mandalay Region, Sagaing Region and Shan State.
To date, 57 vehicles loaded with relief materials have been distributed to Mandalay Region, while 29 to Sagaing Region and nine to Shan State (South).

The inventory of distribution of donated items by the international donors from 5 to 12 May is mentioned in the separate spreadsheets. The distribution processes will be released once a week.
