THE final day of the fundraising variety show for the communities affected by the Mandalay earthquake took place at the National Theatre in Yangon, with the attendance of Yangon Region Chief Minister U Soe Thein, regional ministers, invitees and guests yesterday.

The Myanmar Theatrical Organization presented the dances, and the participants observed a moment of silence in memory of those who lost their lives in the disaster.

The cash donated by the well-wishers and the Yangon Region government was handed over to Chairman U Phoe Chit of the organization.

The members of organization performed the Myanmar traditional dance, dual dance and opera, and it also included the entertainment of Arzani San San Circus. — MNA/KTZH
