PDF terrorists carried out a bomb attack on Thinbaungkyin Village in Kanbalu Township, Sagaing Region, on the morning of 6 May, resulting in civilian casualties. The attack occurred at around 10:45 am, when terrorists dropped explosives from a drone flying approximately 800 metres above the southern part of the village. A man was killed and another man was injured in the blast while they were peacefully going about their daily lives.

Residents strongly condemned the terrorist act, expressing anger and fear over such bombings in peaceful villages. They stated that they could never accept these brutal actions and continued to support Tatmadaw’s counter-terrorism operations.
