In the wake of the 28 March earthquake, Ayeyawady Foundation is currently at the front of restoring Mandalay General Hospital (MGH) to its full operational capacity. The foundation is focusing on clearing debris, repairing damaged sections of the hospital and re-establishing essential services.

Efforts include the installation of new air conditioning units, the repair of critical mechanical and electrical systems and extensive cleanliness protocols to ensure a safe environment.

Ayeyawady Foundation has swiftly established 430 temporary field hospitals across Mandalay and Sagaing to provide urgent medical care. Collaborative efforts with relevant organizations are ongoing to restore healthcare services in the region, ensuring that those affected by the earthquake receive timely and essential treatment.
