Senior General Min Aung Hlaing and Russian Security Council Secretary Mr Sergey Kuzhugetovich Shoigu held talks about the enhancement of bilateral relations.

Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, who is currently in Moscow of the Russian Federation to pay an official visit, held talks with the Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Mr Sergey Kuzhugetovich Shoigu at his meeting hall yesterday morning.

On arrival at the Secretariat of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, the Senior General and his entourage were cordially welcomed by Security Council Secretary Mr Sergey Kuzhugetovich Shoigu.

At the meeting hall, they frankly discussed improvement of relations between the two countries, promotion of cooperation in security measures, attendance of Myanmar delegates to the ceremony to mark the 80th Anniversary of the Victory over Fascism in the Great Patriotic War in Moscow, and invitation to Myanmar delegations to the security forums.

The Senior General conferred the Sithu Title of Pyidaungsu Sithu Thingaha Title on Mr Sergey Kuzhugetovich Shoigu.

Also present at the meeting were SAC Joint Secretary General Ye Win Oo, Council Member General Nyo Saw, Union Minister at the Ministry 1 of the SAC Chairman Office National Security Adviser Admiral Moe Aung and Myanmar Ambassador to the Russian Federation U Thit Linn Ohn.
