STATE Administration Council Chairman and Prime Minister Senior General Thadoe Maha Thray Sithu Thadoe Thiri Thudhamma Min Aung Hlaing mentioned in a message sent to the ceremony to mark the 78th Anniversary of Union Day in 2025 that temporarily displaced people will receive K20,000 each per month from January to December this year.

These grants will be transferred to the disaster management fund accounts of the region and state governments, including the Nay Pyi Taw Council Area. In providing such grants, the Prime Minister urged authorities concerned to cooperate systematically and effectively to include all displaced people in their respective areas with no one left behind on the lists.

Senior General Min Aung Hlaing further instructed in the message to update the existing lists of temporarily displaced people with newly collected data for proper scrutiny and support.

The Prime Minister met Chief Ministers of the Regions and States in Nay Pyi Taw on the morning of 11 February and handed over the monthly aid to the temporarily displaced people.
