Tatmadaw’s mobile medical team, comprising specialists, doctors and nurses provided healthcare services to residents along the Ayeyawady River. The team operating aboard Tatmadaw hospital vessel Shwepuzun and river vessel Saku conducted medical services yesterday at the Basic Education Middle School in Kyone Mange Village, Kyaiklat Township. A total of 516 locals from Kyone Mange and nearby villages received medical care.

The team provided treatment for 174 general patients, 19 surgical cases, 15 obstetric and gynaecological cases, 53 paediatric cases, 64 orthopaedic cases, 34 (ear, nose and throat) ENT cases, 79 eye-related cases and 78 dental cases. Six general surgical patients and six eye patients underwent operations, while 17 individuals received X-ray examinations, 32 underwent ultrasound tests, 45 had ECG screenings and 47 received laboratory tests. Three patients requiring further treatment were referred to nearby Tatmadaw and regional hospitals.
