EVERY citizen must be knowledgeable about law, said Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Transport and Communications General Mya Tun Oo during a legal education session held for civil servants at the Ministry of Transport and Communications in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday morning.
The Deputy Prime Minister aimed to promote legal knowledge among citizens to prevent crimes due to ignorance of the law. He emphasized the need for every citizen to have a good knowledge of relevant laws and their principles to ensure peaceful living within the legal framework. He also urged civil servants to apply the legal knowledge gained in their work, emphasizing the importance of law-abiding conduct for national development.
The session also included discussions on various key laws, such as the Constitution, Civil Service Law, Election Laws, and Transport Safety Regulations. The event was designed to enhance legal awareness among public servants and ensure their actions align with the law.
