Officials welcomed the trainees from the People’s Military Service Training 9 yesterday morning with a ceremony as they arrived at the Local Training Depot in Kengtung, Shan State (East).

The ceremony took place in the presence of Triangle Region Command Commander Brig-Gen Soe Hlaing along with officers, other ranks, families, members of the Myanmar Police Force, War Veterans Organization members, departmental officials, ethnic cultural groups and locals.

The training course will begin on 20 January. Responsible officials are currently finalizing preparations including grouping and administrative measures for the participants, ensuring they are ready for the upcoming training.
