The first coordination meeting of the Sub-Committee for the 77th Independence Day Reception and Dinner was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs yesterday.

Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Foreign Affairs U Than Swe, who is the Chairman of the Subcommittee, attended the meeting along with subcommittee members, working group chairmen, and officials from relevant departments. In his opening remarks, the Deputy Prime Minister discussed the work to be carried out by the subcommittee to ensure the successful holding of the reception and dinner. The participants also discussed points to be submitted to the Central Committee for Organizing Independence Day Celebration and other issues to be negotiated within the subcommittee.

The Deputy Prime Minister addressed necessary issues related to the presentations.
