Chairman of the State Administration Council Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, accompanied by his wife Daw Kyu Kyu Hla, Chief of the General Staff (Army, Navy and Air) General Maung Maung Aye and his wife, senior Tatmadaw officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief and their wives, yesterday morning, comforted Tatmadaw members receiving medical treatment at the local Tatmadaw hospital in PyinOoLwin for their injuries which they sustained while serving in the defence and security duties of the State.

The Senior General warmly asked about the health conditions of injured Tatmadaw members in individuals and the healing of injuries and fulfilled their needs.

The Senior General presented cash awards and foodstuffs to Tatmadaw members receiving medical treatment at the hospital.

Daw Kyu Kyu Hla, wife of the Senior General, warmly consoled families of Tatmadaw members at the maternity and child wards and presented gifts.

The Senior General, his wife and the party inspected the maintenance of ancient Tatmadaw guesthouses namely Thazin Myaing, Cherry Myaing and Yuzana Myaing and officials reported on the progress of maintenance.

In his response, the Senior General gave guidance on systematic maintenance of the ancient buildings without losing their original structures, and use of ancient furniture and utensils in the maintenance process as much as possible. He viewed environmental conservation around the guesthouses. The Senior General also gave guidance to officials on the systematic maintenance of other ancient buildings in PyinOoLwin.
