Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar U Than Swe received Mr Abhay Thakur, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of India to the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, yesterday at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Nay Pyi Taw.
They engaged in a cordial and constructive exchange of views on strengthening the traditional bonds of friendship between the two countries through the existing bilateral mechanisms across various sectors of common interest, advancing cooperation on regional and international matters of mutual interest.
