The Central Committee on Administration of Vacant, Fallow and Virgin Lands organized its 30th coordination meeting via videoconferencing yesterday morning.

Union Minister for Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation Dr Aung Thu, in his capacity as the Chairman of committee, Deputy Minister U Hla Kyaw, committee member and Permanent Secretary U Kyaw Min Oo and committee secretary U Thet Naing Oo joined the meeting from the ministry in Nay Pyi Taw with the other committee members participated by the Zoom application.

The meeting discussed formation of specific committees to scrutinize complaint reports on applications for the use of vacant, follow and virgin lands, the return of land certificates, expansion of existing 4-year period to implement the works on the land, inspection on the use of land for livestock breeding and mineral extraction, and issuing second copies for the lost land allocation certificates.
