OFFICIALS from Union of Myanmar Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry (UMFCCI) discussed with Yangon Region Immigration and Human Resources Minister Daw Moe Moe Suu Kyi on 26 September payment for social security contributions to the stay-home employees in Yangon following the government imposed Stay-at-Home order for the people in townships of Yangon Region not to go to their workplaces, except for the essential businesses.

They discussed provision of 40 per cent of the salaries to the employees who included in Stay-at-Home order, worked at private industries, factories and departments which paid SSB fees for June 2020 including cash assistance of K30,000 for each employees who does not pay SSB fees by the government, online payment programmes, compiling of labour lists, database establishment, systematic labour registration, correct or accurate documents and timely information.

The  meeting  was  attended  by  UMFCCI  President  U  Zaw  Min  Win,  Vice-Presidents  U  Wai  Phyo  and  U  Thaung  Tin,  Secretary  General  U  Aye  Win,  Joint  Secretaries  General  Daw  Khaing Khaing Nwe, U Aung Soe Thar and U Aye Tun, officials of Yangon  Region  government  and  Directorate  of  Industrial  Supervision  and  Inspection.
