An official from the relevant irrigation department has stated that the dam has not been drained. If the dam were to overflow or require breaching, authorities would be informed immediately. A notification would then be issued, and residents would be evacuated as a safety measure. The official added that such procedures cannot be undertaken independently. The news was deliberately fabricated to mislead the public and tarnish the government’s reputation.
