MALICIOUS media have intentionally continued to spread false news, claiming that security forces inspected an express bus travelling from Kyonpyaw in Ayeyawady Region to Yangon and recruited youths who were travelling without a Citizenship Scrutiny Card and an approval letter for travel at the Pantaing checkpoint in Nyaungdon Township, Ayeyawady Region, on 10 September.

In reality, security forces are conducting systematic searches to prevent terrorists from entering villages, carrying illegal weapons, and carrying out terrorist activities in the town. However, subversive media intentionally spread false news to facilitate terrorists’ entry into the town and to create misunderstandings between the public and security forces, according to a security official from the relevant area.
