Director-General of the Union Election Commission U Khin Maung Oo presented advance ballot papers and envelopes for 20,426 eligible Myanmar voters living abroad to Director-General for the Planning and Administrative Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs U Aung Soe Win yesterday for the second time.

The sub-commissions of UEC scrutinized the copies of Form-15 for eligible voters, sent by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, for the voters in foreign countries. In the first time, advance ballot papers and envelopes for 188 eligible overseas voters have been sent to the respective Myanmar embassies, missions and consulates in foreign countries on 18 September.

In the second time, the ballot papers and envelopes for advance voting will be sent to the Myanmar embassies in Bangkok, Singapore, Seoul and Kuala Lumpur for the national voters from 8 regions and states.
