DEPUTY Prime Minister and Union Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar U Than Swe received Mr Chen Hai, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to Myanmar, who is leaving upon completion of his tour of duty in Myanmar, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.

At the farewell call, both sides cordially exchanged views on matters pertaining to further enhancement of the existing “Pauk-Phaw” relations between Myanmar and China, mutually beneficial cooperation in both regional and international arena, especially in ASEAN and the United Nations, the maintenance of peace and stability along Myanmar-China border and the acceleration of Myanmar-China bilateral relations.
