THE Myanmar Mercantile Marine College will be offering diploma courses for the 2025-2026 academic year, starting from January 2025.

The two-year courses will include Cadet Training Course (CD/50), Cadet Engineer Course (CE/50) and Cadet Mercantile Electrical Engineer Course (CME/05).

After completion, students will receive diplomas in nautical studies, maritime technology, and marine electrical technology.

The admission criteria include an age of not more than 21 years on 31 December 2024, and for cadet training and cadet engineer courses, applicants must have a total of at least 400 marks, including physics and chemistry subjects in the KG+12 examination.

For the cadet mercantile electrical engineer course, the applicants must have obtained at least 390 marks in science or the combination of science and art, including physics and chemistry subjects.

MMMC will accept applications from 1 July 2024 to 30 August 2024.

The numbers of students to be admitted are 130, 130 and 40 in the cadet training course, the cadet engineering course and the cadet mercantile electrical engineer course, respectively.

Personal interviews will be held at the MMMC on Bayintnaung Street, Kamayut Township, for admission, and detailed information can be obtained from the registrar’s office and training sections as well as www.mmmc.edu.mm and MMMC Facebook page.
