According to the Yangon Region Government, preparations for the 77th Martyrs’ Day, including those for the Martyrs’ Mausoleum and the Bogyoke Aung San Museum, are currently underway.

Chief Minister of Yangon Region U Soe Thein inspected the preparations for the Martyrs’ Mausoleum, the location of the ceremony, the site where the public will pay their respects to the Martyrs, the cleanliness of the mausoleum’s surroundings, and the VIP lounges on 13 June.

Furthermore, he also inspected the preparations for the Bogyoke Aung San Museum, which was the home of General Aung San and his family.
