Restoration work and electricity distribution work to restore electricity to local people who have returned to their homes are underway in Hsihseng Township, Pa-O Self-Administered Zone, Shan State (South).

Hsihseng Township Electricity Distribution Committee, township officials and employees have completed the repair work of one 33/11 kV (5) AV main transformer, 113 rooms of 11 kV power lines, 359 rooms of 400-volt power lines and eight damaged 11/0.4 kV (200) kV transformers. Currently, electricity has been restored to six departmental offices and 295 residents’ homes in the township.

Now, necessary electrical installations are being made for departmental offices and local people’s homes that still do not have electricity. After these works are completed, electricity will continue to be distributed. — Nay Min (Hsihseng)/KZL
