WELL-wishers and civil society organization made donations to the Rakhine State government for prevention and control of COVID-19 in the state yesterday afternoon.

Zeyar Maungmae CSO (Sagaing) donated COVID-19 prevention equipment (worth K6,849,000) and “Star Empire Yangon” owned by family of Daw Tin May donated a “bedside monitor” (worth K3,151,000) to the Rakhine State government.

On behalf of the donors, Rakhine State Chief Minister U Nyi Pu handed over the equipment to the Rakhine State Minister for Finance, Revenue Planning, and Economy, and the Rakhine State Minister for Electricity, Industry and Transportation.
