UMFCCI President U Aye Win remarked, “Changes are constantly happening in the present-day world. We need to prepare the necessary plans to tackle arising challenges in doing business. If we can turn encountered challenges into opportunities, better business platforms will emerge. Young entrepreneurs possess technological skills, and they can share their experiences and knowledge. Women entrepreneurs from different businesses are well-experienced. Thus, UMFCCI calls for collaboration with these two associations.”

The UMFCCI president mentioned the above remarks at the ceremony for signing the MoU between Myanmar Women Entrepreneurs Network (MYANWEN) and Myanmar Young Entrepreneurs Association (MYEA), along with educative talks on ‘Global Entrepreneurship (GEW) Week 2023 – Thriving in Uncertainty’, held at the office of the Union of Myanmar Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry (UMFCCI) on 18 November.

The ‘Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW)’ is usually held from 13 to 19 November in honour of entrepreneurs worldwide.

MYANWEN was established in 2020 as a steering entity to contribute to the socioeconomic development of Myanmar. The MYEA was organized in 2012 by the guidance of the UMFCCI.
