THE Department of Information and Public Relations (IPRD) commenced its pre-employment training course 1/2023 in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday. The event was attended by Deputy Minister for Information U Ye Tint, departmental heads, officials, instructors, and trainees.

Deputy Minister U Ye Tint highlighted the course’s significance in familiarizing participants with the department’s ethics, policies, roles, and objectives, as well as regulations governing civil service. He emphasized the integration of practical aspects within the curriculum, aimed at enhancing trainees’ capabilities in line with their job responsibilities.

The course encourages constant learning and innovation to align with the ministry’s and department’s goals. Participants are urged to adhere to the course’s disciplines, strive for objectives, and effectively apply their learning to practical scenarios.

Running until 25 August, the training is attended by 30 trainees and covers various topics. The IPRD instructors will provide comprehensive training on policy and role, objectives, civil service regulations, office practices, financial protocols, digital library management, media ethics, media literacy, social media dynamics, printing and publishing procedures, news media regulations, and public relations techniques.
