CHAIRMAN of the State Administration Council Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing and wife Daw Kyu Kyu Hla offered alms and meals to members of the Sangha at the Waso robe offering ceremony for 2023 of families of the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Army, Navy and Air) at the hall of the Office of Commander-in-Chief (Army), yesterday morning.

The Senior General and wife offered Waso robes and alms to Thanlyin Minkyaung Sayadaw Agga Maha Pandita Agga Maha Saddhamma Jotikadhaja Dr Bhaddanta Candima Bhivamsa.

SAC Vice-Chairman Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice-Senior General Soe Win and wife Daw Than Than Nwe also donated Waso robes and alms to Presiding Nayaka of Kyaukme Thiho Pariyatti Buddhist Learning Centre of Shan State Agga Maha Pandita Dr Bhaddanta Candanasara.

The Senior General, his wife and attendees shared merits gained.

After the ceremony, the Senior General and wife, the Vice-Senior General and wife and attendees offered day meals to members of the Sangha led by the Thanlyin Minkyaung Sayadaw.
