KAYIN State Chief Minister U Saw Myint Oo, members of the state government, along with departmental officials, received Precision Auto Engineering Co Ltd project general manager and party yesterday at the state government office, engaging in the assembly, production and distribution of BAJAJ brand vehicles (two-wheel, three-wheel and four-wheel) in Kayin State.

The meeting focused on the status of vehicle assembly, production, distribution and sales in the Hpa-an Industrial Zone, giving more than 120 local employees access to employment opportunities, investment status of about US$3.949 million, the assembly and production capacity status, availability of raw materials and operating conditions in the manufacturing plant, the progress of manufacturing electric vehicles (EVs) project, creating employment opportunities for locals, and efforts for sustainability of the company’s goal. The chief minister coordinated with relevant departments and gave the necessary instructions.
