MYANMAR delegation led by Union Minister for Industry Dr Charlie Than arrived back at Yangon International Airport after attending the 13th Industrial Trade Fair in Yekaterinburg of the Russian Federation yesterday evening.

During the tour in Russia, the Myanmar delegation attended the opening ceremony of the 13th Industrial Trade Fair and observed the displayed industrial products, participated in Penal Discussion under the topic of Sustainable Manufacturing Strategies of Renewal and discussed the matters related to Building Economic Relations and Protecting your Own Manufacturer.

Moreover, the delegation enjoyed the dinner hosted by the Sverdlovsk Region Governor together with Deputy Prime Minister of Russian Federation Industry and Trade Minister Mr Denis Manturov and other ministers and diplomats.

The Union minister also met the delegation led by Deputy Prime Minister of Russian Federation Industry and Trade Minister Mr Denis Manturov separately and visited the geological museum of Ural State Mining University, the museum complex of military and civil equipment of the Ural Mining and Metallurgical Company and Stone-Crafting House by Alexey Antonov.

The Union minister discussed development programmes of the industrial sector of Myanmar, technical assistance and training courses for the steel and iron sector, exploration of metal ores and MSMEs development programmes with Mr Byechis Laffarin, Minister of International Economic Relations of the Sverdlovsk Region.
