STATE Administration Council Member U Maung Ko met rectors, pro-rectors, professors, and lecturers from Universities, Degree Colleges, and Industrial Training Centres in Mahaaungmyay, Aungmyaythazan, and Amarapura Districts on 25 May regarding the increase in the number of students attending school.

First, the SAC member met school heads, and officials from Mahaaungmyay, and Aungmyaythazan Districts.

During the meeting, the SAC member further informed and explained the information of the speech given by the Chairman of the State Administration Council at the Myanmar National Education Conference (2023) and highlighted the importance of increasing the number of school enrollees and the number of students attending school and the role of basic education schools.

Next, Mandalay Region Chief Minister U Myo Aung said that the state is serious about promoting national education, and the attendees presented and discussed it.

The SAC member coordinated the necessary matters SAC member meets rectors, lecturers of universities and presented K2,325,000 to teachers as a reward.

Next, the SAC member met rectors, pro-rectors, professors, and lecturers from Universities, Degree Colleges, and Industrial Training Centres in Mahaaungmyay and Aungmyaythazan Districts and SAC member and family member donated the Yamaha keyboard to the Arts Association of Kyaukse University.

Next, the SAC member coordinated and fulfilled the discussion and presentation of Mandalay Region Minister for Economy U Thein Htay regarding the use of funds for the development of the education sector in the region.
